Two volumes in one, folio (11 x 7 1/4 in.; 279 x 184 mm). Woodcut architectural title-page border with printer's initials at the base of the two columns (McKerrow & Ferguson 20), border repeated for separate title-page of Vol. II (with separate register and pagination), black letter, double columns, woodcut initials (some criblé, others historiated); Vol. I: title and imprint left blank, title-page soiled, extensive remargining of quire A, B1 extended, marginal discoloration in latter half, a few leaves lightly browned, lacks final leaf E6. Vol. II: pagination errors after 3A4, lacks 3A6, marginal repairs to title-page and to *1, *5–6 (with catchword on *5 supplied in facsimile), three lower right corners remargined, short tears repaired to bottom margins of three leaves, quire 3S extensively remargined, some browning and staining. Contemporary calf, central lozenge on covers, rubbed, endpapers renewed
