Condition

Original canvas. There are some isolated areas of craquelure to some of the thicker areas of impasto, but these appear stable and only visible upon close inspection. Overall the work appears in good overall condition with a richly textured surface. Under ultraviolet light it is difficult to read the surface conclusively. There may be a few small areas of retouching in the upper right corner to possible old losses and also one in lower right corner. Held in a simple wooden box frame, ready to hang.
