Condition
The canvas has been lined. A faint craquelure pattern across the surface and some frame abrasions along each edge; otherwise the work appears sound overall.
Under ultraviolet light there are retouchings along each edge and further spots of retouching across the composition.
Held in a gilt plaster frame.
