consisting of a woman's black silk satin dress, circa 1840, a silk shawl, a silk mantel with velvet chenille tassels, a group of four hairwork flower shroud pins, a man's mourning coat, circa 1850, a man's waistcoat, a man's shirt, a man's mourning tie, a pair of men's button-up leather shoes, circa 1870, and a beaver top hat in a leather hat box.
Condition
A) in good condition overall, staining in underarms; B) in food condition; C) in good condition; D) some losses and loose hair, in good condition overall; E) stains across the back of garment, wear on the collar and sleeves, tears on lining of coat; F) missing buttons, worn appearance, some fading; G) staining and wear consistent with age and use; H) in good condition; I: in good condition overall, wear to the soles, losses and wear consistent with age and use; J) top hat: in good condition, case: exterior leather is cracked and brittle, leather hinge has evidence of rot; interior retains vibrant color and condition.
