Including a printed and engraved certificate: William Arnold Member of the Providence Marine Society, Providence, Rhode Island, dated July 4, 1823; an engraved Marine Society certificate for Captain Jesse G. Codding, Boston, Massachusetts, 19th century; and an engraved certificate for the Salem Marine Society for Charles W. Farington, dated 18433 pieces.

Condition

the first: Losses around the edges and some discoloration; The second: In good condition. A few tears and small cracks on the seal; The third: Some discoloration. The edges appear to be trimmed. Embossed paper seal. Newspaper fragments removed from the frame of the certificate from Salem, Massachusetts, dated 1841 are offered with this lot as well.
