The first: Sotheby's, New York, The Colonel Edgar William and Bernice Chrysler Garbisch Collection, lot 559.
The second: Robert Chase.

Condition

The first pair: Minor foxing and fading overall. Exfoliation to the black painted glass eglomisé mat; The second pair: Small tears around the edges on both portraits and abrasions in background and costume. In what appear to be period frames with wooden backboards.
