cross-stitched with the initials S P.  Together with a needlework embroidery with an image of a bird, dated 1765; and two needlework samplers on linen one dated 1789. 4 pieces.

The first: Descended in the Pyle family of Quakers;
Richard Jones, Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

Condition

In order listed: The first: Discolored and tears in silk. One of the tassels has become detached; The second: Contact department for condition; The third: Both are discolored and faded. Some losses and large areas of wear; The fourth: Contact department for condition.
