Each sprigged with foliate designs, the larger with a pewter thumbpiece and the other mounted with a pewter cover.
Provenance
The smaller: Robert Hunter, Period Designs, Yorktown, Virginia.
Condition
The larger: the cover is lacking. It has been broken into several pieces and extensively restored back. There is also an approximate 1 1/2-inch footrim chip.
The smaller: 1/2-inch rimchip and a 1-inch haircrack running from the rim edge to the handle. The handle and the cover have been replaced with pewter mounts.
