  • Height 13 1/2 in. by Width 11 in. by Depth 8 in.
Depicting Rebecca at the well, Eleazer fetching Rebecca, Abraham's sacrifice of Isaac, Hagar and Ishmael being banished, Sarah with Isaac and Ishmael, worked in satin, outline, French knot and other stitches.

Condition

Some of the threads have broken especially when the floats are very long. Oxidation to some of the dark browns and blacks. Losses to some areas of needlework. Faces of the two figures on the doors are especially worn. Losses to the trim border; some replacements. Interior silk linings with stains and some tears and holes. Feet with some chips to gesso and losses to decoration. One foot with a restored break. Casket underwent conservation in 2007.
