Condition
Pile ranges from approximately 1/8th in. to low to knot heads. Oxidized browns and scattered foldwear with some exposed spot foundation . Lower medallion with a 18 in. by 2 in. flat Kashmir reweave now reinforced on reverse with cloth tape. Scattered repiling. Left side with a 18 in. repaired foldwear slit into side. Sides with losses fraying and overcasting to selvages. Both ends missing outer guard stripes now secured with a cross stitch. Some chemical orange dyes. In some areas of wear warps are pulling through. Scattered spot stains. Some wax droppings. Surface dirt. Will enhance with cleaning. Supple handle, sound fabric and condition.
