Comprising a cream jug, a miniature pecten-shell molded jug and a spoon. Together with two creamware ladles. 5 pieces.

Provenance

The cream jug: Sotheby Parke Bernet, New York, Property of Mr. and Mrs. Bertram Rowland, Buckingham, Pennsylvania, March 25, 1977, lot 2 (part).  

Condition

Plain jug: generally good condition. Pecten shell jug: several very minor tiny chips to the rim edge; fine haircrack running from above the foot to about midway up one side and extending into discolored crazing around the lower body. Spoon: handle broken and restored. Solid ladle: generally good condition. Pierced ladle: the bowl broken into several pieces and repaired, with some related loss to a portion of the pierced pattern.
