Comprising a coffee pot and a silver-mounted cover, a milk jug and cover and a sugar bowl and cover. 6 pieces.

Provenance

The coffee pot: Sotheby's, London, March 15, 1983, lot 51.
The milk jug and cover: Sotheby Parke Bernet, Inc., New York, The Collection of Dr. and Mrs. Warren Baker, April 24, 1982, lot 124;
Art Trading Limited, New York.
The sugar bowl and cover: Skinner Auctioneers Inc., Boston, Massachusetts, The Dorothy Levy Collection, Cherry Hill, New Jersey, May 31, 1996, lot 4.

Condition

Coffee pot: cover matched from a smaller vessel and mounted in silver to fit the coffee pot. Milk jug: minor pinhead chip to the rim; the foot with three 1/2-in. restored and made-up chips. Sugar bowl: both the bowl and cover are restored and completely sprayed, making the exact nature of the original damage impossible to determine, although it is likely that the restoration could be concealing large breaks, cracks or chips.
