  • porcelain
  • Height 9 1/8 in.

Provenance

Rowland's Antiques, Buckingham, Pennsylvania.

Philadelphia, Philadelphia Museum of Art, Turned and Thrown: English Pottery from Local Collections, March 29-July 27, 2008.

Condition

The cover has two small chips to the rim edge, mostly to the underside of the rim and showing little on the exterior. There is another 1/3-inch flat chip to the rim edge. The spout of the coffeepot is restored. There is a restored haircrack running down the side of the rim on the side with the couple running for approximately 3 inches and curving and crossing across the tree; the restoration is very well done.
