Depicting a lady and a courtier with hunt and pastoral scenes, worked in satin, outline and other stitches.

Stephen & Carol Huber, East Lyme, Connecticut.

Condition

Needlework has experienced some wear and losses, mostly to the top, edges, and right door, while the sides have few losses. The back also has some breaks to the silk threads. Colors have slightly faded. Interior drawers and lined in blue silk with some tears, spots stains, and small losses. Drawer fronts and inside of cupboard doors and covered in green velvet, some losses to velvet and trim.
