Depicting Charles I and Charles II, blue paper with applied stumpwork and worked in long and short, chain, long-armed cross, and other stitches, in a later ebonized frame.

Simon Redburn, New York.
Condition
In good condition with highly precise stitches including immaculate French knots to the hair; the paper is slightly warped. Some of the mosswork elements have come loss. There are minor losses to some of the needlework elements; particularly a small loss to the angel's nose. Some of the silk thread colors have faded slightly. Minor wood worm damage to frame as well as rubbing and wear.
