Printed on one side with portrait medallions of Samuel Adams and John Hancock below a monument to George Washington within an oval border inscribed The Memory of WASHINGTON and the Proscribed PATRIOTS OF AMERICA. Liberty, Virtue, Peace, Justice, and Equity to ALL Mankind, the reverse with an American ship at sea.

Condition

There is an approximate 2 x 1 1/2-in restored break to the foot beneath the ship that issues a restored haircrack running up the side and through the ship, curving towards the handle and ending about an inch above the flag. The break also issues a second restored haircrack the extends across the base and up the opposite side for about 1 inch.
