Description

Printed in black on one side with mourners at Washington's tomb within a border of lozenges inscribed with the names of the thirteen colonies and on the other with two female figures of Plenty flanking an eagle perched on a cannon above an oval medallion inscribed PEACE, PLENTY AND INDEPENDENCE, with a shield-emblazoned eagle beneath the spout.

Condition

The spout is restored and there is a 1 1/4-in restored chip to the rim above the eagle. Some scratching to the transfer-printed decoration.
