Gadsden, “When Good Cabinetmakers Made Bad Furniture: The Career and Work of David Evans,” in American Furniture, edited by Luke Beckerdite (Hanover and London: Chipstone Foundation, distributed by University Press of New England, 2001) pp. 65-87.
