Description

  • height 12.8cm, 5in.
the surface of translucent pink enamel over moiré engine-turning, the frame of raised reeds with fleuron corners, the bezel of entrelac, ivory back, silver scroll strut, struck with workmaster's initials and Fabergé in Cyrillic, 88 standard, illegible scratched number, possibly an inventory number

Condition

The enamel is in excellent condition and an attractive colour. The silver with scratches consistent with age and some knicks. Tiny knicks to the crystal. The ivory back with splits at the corners as expected. The timepiece ticks when wound, but please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the mechanism.
