the first workmaster Ander Nevalainen, St Petersburg, 1899-1904, gilt polished surfaces, open-ended, the lid inset with a silver coin of Empress Catherine II dated 1784, the interior engraved in German 'On wings of song', struck with workmaster's initials and K.Fabergé in Cyrillic, 88 standard, scratched inventory number 9509; the second Moscow, circa 1895, plain polished surfaces, the lid applied with rose-cut diamond-set green and pink gold Cyrillic initials XV, the inner lid fitted for a photograph, gilt interior, struck K.Fabergé in Cyrillic beneath the Imperial Warrant, 84 standard

Condition

Excellent condition with minor surface scratches. Both of good weight.
