Condition
The original icon 17th century, with extensive early 19th century repainting contemporary with the oklad. The faces of both the Virgin and the Child mostly 17th century. The hands, garments and background with areas of early 19th century repainting and areas of modern repainting. The silver in very good condition, with two or three of the elements of the halo very slightly bent.
