the oval medallion painted with landscape scene after a lithograph by G.G. and N.G. Chernetsov from the 'View of Palestine' series of 1844, the laurel wreath cislée border titled in Russian 'The Mount of Olives', with impressed factory mark for Emperor Nicholas I

Condition

Excellent condition, the gilding very slightly worn and with small and very light scratches throughout. Two very small chips around the top opening, and wear around the bottom opening associated with the stand.
