the border with gilt laurel wreath between two gold bands, the cavetto painted with rose specimen after P.J. Redouté titled 'L'eglantier serin', the reverse with gilt inscription 'archangelski, 1824'
Condition
Very good condition, with very light and small scratches to the gilding throughout. The cavetto with a five pointed hairline crack radiating from a point slight to the upper right of centre, visible on both sides.
