the lobed cup and base with chased rocaille motifs, the stem formed as a figure of the goddess Hebe, holding Ganymede in the form of an eagle, the lid surmounted by double-headed eagle, assay master Mikhail Borobshikov

Condition

Very good condition, with the stem bent very slightly off centre. The eagle mounted to the lid ill-fitting and slightly loose within its fitting.
