Condition

There are abrasions along all four edges. There is nick in the board and the surface of the canvas in the centre of the bottom edge. There are a couple of minor scattered paint chips, in the green pigment in the upper right corner and in the date in the lower right. The odd very fine crack is visible in the paint layer, mostly restricted to the lower right corner. There is a layer of surface dirt with spots of dirt in places. Inspection under UV light does not reveal any obvious signs of retouching. Held in a gold painted wooden frame. Unexamined out of frame.
