Condition

The canvas has not been lined. There is horizontal craquleure throughout the composition, but most notably in the upper right corner. There is a layer of surface dirt throughout. Examination under UV light reveals a couple of very minor areas of retouching, such as under the feet of the kneeling woman and in the upper left quadrant in the vaulted ceiling. Held in a wooden frame with gold coloured slip. Unexamined out of frame.
