Condition

Original canvas on its original stretcher. The canvas tacking edges have been taped over. There is very slight rippling in the two right corners and stretcher bar marks are visible in places at the edges. The varnish layer is uneven and has discoloured and there are spots of dirt in places. Inspection under UV light reveals a few minor areas of retouching, mostly in the upper left and lower right corners. Held in a black and silver tray frame. Unexamined out of frame.
