Condition

The board has been backed with a wooden stretcher. An unfinished composition with male figures is visible on the reverse, partially obscured by the stretcher. There are a few horizontal cracks in the surface of the board and the paint layer, particularly in the upper left quadrant. There is wear and tear to the edges with some minor corresponding paint loss. There is a layer of surface dirt and there are flecks of dirt in places. Inspection under UV light does not reveal any apparent sings of retouching. Held in a simple wooden frame. Unexamined out of frame.
