Condition

Original canvas on its original stretcher. There is very small paint chip near the centre of the right edge. The surface is covered in a layer of dirt and there are spots in places. Inspection under UV light does not reveal any signs of retouching. Held in a thin gilt wooden strip frame. Unexamined out of frame.
