Condition

The edges of the board are slightly worn. There are protrusions in the surface of the board in each corner. Scattered areas of what appear to be woodworm holes are visible throughout . There is a layer of surface dirt. The reverse bears a composition in oils of a man walking along a moonlit shore. Inspection under UV light reveals no apparent signs of retouching. Held in a painted wooden frame. Unexamined out of frame.
