Condition
Original canvas. The varnish has slightly discoloured and the layer of surface dirt is sufficient that the work would benefit from a light clean. There are spots of dirt in the top right corner and in a few places elsewhere. There are some very fine vertical scratches to the water. Inspection under UV light reveals no apparent signs of retouching. Held in a simple painted wooden frame. Unexamined out of frame.
