Condition
The canvas has been lined. There are fine cracks in places, most notably in the impasto and in the blue pigment of the two women's skirts in the upper left quadrant. There is a paint chip in the lower and upper left corners. The under-drawing is visible through the paint layer. There is a layer of surface dirt and flecks of dirt in places. Inspection under UV light reveals retouching to the edges and to the blue skirt in the upper left corner. Held in a black and gold coloured tray frame. Unexamined out of frame.
