Condition

The original tacking edges of the canvas have been cut and it has been laid on board. There are frame abrasions along all four edges. There is a layer of surface dirt and flecks of dirt in places. Inspection under UV light does not reveal any obvious signs of retouching. Held in a gold painted wooden frame. Unexamined out of frame.
