Condition

The illustration is accurate, good overall condition despite the inevitable dents, scratches and marks due to the age and use. The protecting door at the back of the case is slightly broken, the small key to open this door is missing, a minor chip to one key hole on the dial, chronos figure was holding something which is now missing, nice gilding nice chasing, nice movement which looks complete although we do not guarantee the working order. “Please note that this condition report was made on August 31th 2016 inside Robert de Balkany's hôtel rue de Varenne; this lot will be shipped to Sotheby's galleries before the exhibit and the sale.”
