Condition
The illustration is accurate, good overall condition despite the inevitable dents, scratches and marks due to the age and use. The dial appears to have been restored.
the gilding has been cleaned, a few minor castings faults, comes with a rewind key and a pendulum, the movement looks complete but needs a clean, the silk suspension adjustment has been replaced. We do not guarantee the working order.
Please note that this condition report was made on August 31th 2016 inside Robert de Balkany's hôtel rue de Varenne; this lot will be shipped to Sotheby's galleries before the exhibit and the sale.
