le plateau ceint en partie d'une galerie et garni de cuir rouge, ouvrant à un tiroir et deux tablettes latérales, les montants en gaine sommés de bustes féminins et reliés par une tablette d'entretoise évidée, terminés par des pieds en griffe dissimulant des roulettes 

Condition

The illustration is accurate, good overall condition despite the inevitable dents, scratches and marks due to the age and use. Gilding slightly tarnished and rubbed, two small losses to the moulding of the frieze, a small restoration to a moulding, a small molding is also missing to the stretcher.A small handle is missing on the lateral sliding top. The grey marble top is fitting with an additionnal and removable top which is limed on one side with leather and on the other one with felt. Please note that this condition report was made on August 31th 2016 inside Robert de Balkany's hôtel rue de Varenne; this lot will be shipped to Sotheby's galleries before the exhibit and the sale.
