Condition

Please note that this condition report was made on September 5th 2016 inside Robert de Balkany's hôtel rue de Varenne; this lot will be shipped to Sotheby's galleries before the exhibit and the sale. The vase is in overall good condition. It has been mounted as a lamp, and not inspected without the mount. Firing cracks are visible on the handles. There are some losses and wear to the enamels, especially on the rim. There is a brownish layer of dust overall. The pair of blue and white figures is in good overall condition. Both have firing cracks on the drum, with some wear to the enamel, especially to the blue. The face is left unglazed. There is some dirt overall.
