Condition

The painting has been relined. The stretcher left marks on the surface. A small scratch is visible in the curtain. Under UV light, both vertical borders appear to have been repainted. A certain number of craquelures have been filled in; and retouches are visible in the dog's robe, others are scattered on the surface. Small retouches are visible in the sky, and on the sitter's face and body.
