A l’œil nu : Le tableau se présente dans un état de conservation satisfaisant. Il a fait l’objet d’un rentoilage réalisé dans la seconde moitié du XXe siècle, un peu fort, qui a un peu tassé la matière. Il a fait l’objet d’un nettoyage récent correctement réalisé. On remarque une couture de toile verticale, sur toute la hauteur, intervenant à 27 cm. du bord droit. On remarque une restauration le long de cette couture, surtout dans la partie haute. A la lampe U. V. : Le tableau apparaît sous un vernis vert non uniforme, partiellement allégé au niveau des personnages. On remarque une déchirure restaurée vers le coin inférieur droit dans le drapé bleu et quelques petites reprises dans le drapé de Sainte Anne dans le coin inférieur gauche. To the naked eye: The painting appears in satisfactory condition. It has been relined on the 2nd half of the 20th century, a little bit too strong and has flattened a little bit the pictorial surface. It has been correctly cleaned recently. We notice a vertical canvas’ seam, all along the height, 27 cm. from the right edge. We notice a restoration all along this seam, specially on the upper part. Under U.V. light: The painting appears under a green non uniform varnish, partially lightened on the figures. We notice a restored tear towards the right lower corner on the blue drapery and some small repaints on the Saint Anne’s drapery on the lower corner.
