Good condition overall with minor wear to the gilding and oxidation visible at several places consistent with age and handling. Julius Cesare and his horse are cast separately with a fixing screw visible under the belly of the horse. A few minor casting flaws visible at several places with one large casting flaw to the horse's proper left rear hock. There are fine hairline fissures visible to the horse's four legs which may be an old restoration. Good hammering and chiseling of the surface, in particular the chiselling of the horse's fur.
