Condition
A l’œil nu :
Le tableau se présente dans un état de conservation satisfaisant mis à part les manques visibles dans le coin inférieur droit.
Le tableau a fait l’objet d’un rentoilage réalisé vraisemblablement à la moitié du XXe siècle, correctement réalisé et qui n’a pas tassé la matière.
Le tableau se présente sous un vernis encrassé, épais et qui a besoin d’être nettoyé.
On remarque des restaurations et des manques visibles sur la photographie.
A la lampe U. V. :
Le tableau apparaît sous un vernis vert épais uniforme.
On remarque quelques reprises dans les fonds à gauche du visage.
To the naked eye:
The painting appears in satisfactory condition putting aside the losses visible on the right low corner.
The painting has been correctly relined that has not flattened the pictorial matter, very probably circa 1950.
The painting appears under a dirty thick varnish that needs to be cleaned.
We notice the restorations and losses visible on the catalogue’s image.
Under U.V. light:
The painting appears under a green uniform thick varnish.
We notice some repaints on the background on the left of the face.
