- en bronze à patine brune
- Haut. 60 cm; height 23 1/2 in.
Condition
Good condition overall all with minor wear to the patina consistent with age and handling. The surface of the bronze covered with a dark brown varnish. The statuette carried by Anchises, Ascanius, the lion skin and Anchises himself are cast separately. Remains of glue, probably of an old label, visible to Anchises back. Nice chiseling all over the surface.
