A l’oeil nu : Le tableau se présente dans un état de conservation moyennement satisfaisant. Il a fait l’objet d’un rentoilage ancien qui a compressé la matière. L Il a fait l’objet d’un nettoyage réalisé dans la première moitié du XXe siècle. Le tableau est sous un vernis ancien qui a besoin d’être allégé. On remarque des restaurations dans les drapées rouges, le vêtement brodé au niveau du buste et le visage. A la lampe U.V. : Le tableau apparaît sous vernis vert épais et non-uniforme, partiellement nettoyé dans les fonds. On remarque des restaurations intervenant dans le visage (front, nez, joues, lèvres), dans le cou (au-dessus et au-dessous du collier) et dans les boucles de la chevelure. On remarque aussi quelques petites reprises dans la main. To the naked eye: The painting appears in moderately satisfactory condition. It has been formerly relined and the pictorial matter has been flattened. It has been cleaned on the first half of the 20th century. The painting is under an old varnish that needs to be lightened. We notice restorations on the red draperies, the embroidered clothes on the chest area and the face. Under U.V. light: The paintings appears under an uneven green thick varnish, partially cleaned on the background. We notice some restorations on the face (forehead, nose, cheeks, lips), on the neck (above and below the necklace) and on the hair curls. We notice some small repaints on the hand.
