Condition
A l’oeil nu:
Le tableau apparaît dans un état de conservation très satisfaisant.
Le tableau a fait l’objet d’un réentoilage réalisé dans la première moitié du XXe siècle, et qui n’a pas tassé la matière.
Il est sous un vernis très sale, épais et ancien qui a besoin d’être allégé.
On ne remarque pas de restauration particulière à l’œil nu.
On constate une griffure de 30 cm de long, au centre au niveau de la décoration.
Du fait de l’accrochage des œuvres durant l’exposition, le tableau n’a pas pu être vu à la lampe UV.
To the naked eye:
The painting appears in good condition.
It has been correctly relined, on the first half of the 20th century, that has not flattened the pictorial matter.
It appears under a very dirty varnish, thick and old that needs to be lightened.
We cannot notice any restoration to the naked eye.
We notice a scratch of 30 cm. long, in the centre, on the decoration.
Due to the hanging of the painting on the wall during the exhibition the painting could not been seen under U.V. light.
