Engraving, late 15th century to early 16th century, a fine early impression of this extremely rare subject, the first state (of four), before the rework, richly inked and printing with great clarity and contrasts, cited in Hind, on paper with an Anchor in a Circle surmounted by a Star watermark (H. 97)

Condition

Trimmed just outside or on the platemark at lower and right sheet edges, trimmed just within elsewhere, in good condition, the usual central horizontal drying fold only visible verso, remains of hinges at four places verso, unframed.
