Condition

The multiple is in good condition, apart from water-staining at the lower edge of the wood backing board, occasional fine surface cracks in the sugar varnish, the paper label discoloured, framed.

Catalogue Note

The Brushstroke ginger bread 'cookie' was produced for artist Daniel Spoerri's Eat-Art Galerie in Düsseldorf in 1970.  Part of the edition was varnished at a later date by the publisher to preserve the ginger bread and icing.
