The complete portfolio, comprising ten screenprints in colours, 1971, each signed in pencil, dated and numbered 26/200 (total edition includes 25 artist's proofs), also numbered on the justification, with the table of contents and text, on wove paper, loose within printed paper wrappers(as issued), contained in the original black cloth-covered portfolio box, printed by Domberger KG, Stuttgart, published by Multiples, New York

Condition

Each sheet with full margins, in good condition, with some wear and discoloration to the portfolio box, two small tears in the title page, discoloration to the title page, text, table of contents and justification. Imperfections to individual sheets are: The American Dream (S. 63) - Some scuffing and rubbing in the image, a slight undulation in the sheet, remains of paper tape at one place along each sheet edge. The Calumet (S. 64) - Two small areas of light greenish staining in the lower margin, light rubbing in the image, a few scuff marks, traces of adhesive along sheet edges verso, paper tape remains at left and right sheet edges. Yield Brother (S. 65) - Scuff marks and rubbing in the image, light green staining in the lower right margin (slightly into the image area and on the signature), remains of paper tape at one place along each sheet edge, a few fox marks in the lower left sheet corner. The Figure 5 (S. 66) - Some minor rubbing in the image, a small stain at the lower sheet edge, a few tiny fox marks in the lower margin, remains of paper tape at one place along each sheet edge. The Brooklyn Bridge (S. 67) - Remains of adhesive at the upper sheet edge recto, very pale discoloration at sheet edges, two handling marks near the lower sheet edge, remains of adhesive along sheet edges verso, a tiny area of skinning at the lower right sheet corner verso. Mississippi (S. 68) - A slight undulation in the sheet, scuff marks and rubbing (mostly visible in the black printed areas), remains of adhesive along the sheet edges verso and at one place near the upper sheet edge recto. USA 666 (S. 69) - Scuff marks and rubbing, remains of adhesive along the sheet edges verso, staining at two places along the lower sheet edge, a horizontal crease in the unprinted area at right which has broken through, pale discoloration at the sheet edges. Parrot (S. 70) - A repaired paper loss(?) at the tip of the lower right sheet edge, a few small stains along the right of the lower sheet edge, a few fox marks along the extreme left sheet edge. Black and White LOVE (S. 71) - Scuff marks and rubbing in the image, minor surface soiling in the margins, a few scattered tiny fox marks in the margins, extremely pale discoloration at sheet edges, surface soiling verso with remains of adhesive along the sheet edges verso. Terre Haute No. 2 (S. 72) - Light rubbing in the image, remains of paper tape at one place along each sheet edge.
