Condition

The full sheet, printed to the edges, generally in good condition, the background colour slightly attenuated, a graphite mark towards the upper right sheet edge, a few soft handling creases with hairline cracks in the ink surface (in background at centre left, near the subject's chin, and at centre upper sheet edge), a very slight ripple in the sheet, the verso with a minor damp-stain at lower right, pale discoloration at the sheet edges, framed.
