sturdily potted with rounded sides rising from a tapered foot, the interior enamelled in red, turquoise and black, depicting a lady and attendants in a riverside landscape in a central medallion, encircled by a trellis band, the cavetto inscribed with a five-character poetic inscription reading Ju shui yue zai shou (Holding [the reflection of] the moon in one’s hand by carrying water), below shaped floral cartouches reserved on a trellis band at the rim

Condition
The dish has been restored in several areas, including a section that has been refixed at the 9 o clock position. Retouching to the rim. General surface wear and imperfections.
