Condition

This print, on double-weight paper with a slightly pebbled surface, is in generally excellent condition. In raking light, some scattered deposits of retouching and tiny impressions are visible. The upper and lower margin edges are softly rippled, and the corners are slightly bumped and creased. The margin edges are gently bumped with some associated tiny losses to the emulsion. On the reverse, the following are written in an unidentified hand in pencil: 'HCB 3'; '2.180'; '47' (erased); and '#4129' (crossed out).
